Round 7 vs NOB’S/St Pat’s – Battle in Ballarat

Round 7 commences this week for a do or die clash for the Bullants against North Old Boys / St Pat’s College in a first ever clash at St Patrick’s College in Ballarat.

The Bullants are coming off what will most likely be their darkest afternoon of the year after succumbing to a hard to swallow defeat by 172 points against Old Geelong last week. Unfortunately the boys were not on their game from the first bounce and Old Geelong took advantage of that and never looked back.

Albeit, that game is now history and the Bullants will be looking to bounce back against a NOB’S side who also got handed a crushing defeat at the hands of new comer and ladder leader Kew Bears. After both sides suffered huge defeats last week, all it does is make this game ever more intriguing to followers of both clubs and the neutral.

A win here for either side will keep their top four and finals hopes alive whereas a loss with all but keep them out of the finals for 2015. After having only one win after six rounds, this is by far the Bullants most crucial match of the year. With hopefully some key personnel back from injury, the boys will look to redeem last’s weeks brain fade and keep their season alive for another week.
