Thats it! Season 2014 is done and dusted. The Bullants took on seconded place Williamstown CYMS on the weekend in a chance to secure a spot in division one for next season. Will the Bullants sitting in relegation area it was a must win game to climb out of that zone. A Williamstown side looking to secure second spot and a date with Therry Penola in the qualifying final came out strongly out of the blocks and got the first three goals on the board and got a handy lead half way through the first quarter. Both sides had their share of chances in the first quarter with the Bullants having 8 shots on goal to Williamstown’s 11 and it was the Bullants trailing by a few goals at the quarter time break.

With the reserves season receiving their fate some weeks ago, the boys had nothing to lose coming into the clash against top of the table and premiership favorites  Williamstown CYMS. The boys came out of the blocks sharply having the first 4 shots on goal and converting 2 of them to go out to an early 14 point lead against the league leaders.
