Edsall claims another senior B&F trophy

Rob Edsall continues his string of great form over the last handful of years to claim yet another senior Best & Fairest for the Bulleen Templestowe Amateur Football Club. Edsall had another dominating season in the Blue & Gold jumper winning by a staggering 42 votes from second placed and first year player for the club Harry Vogler. Vogler had a great first year for the Bullants producing some staggering runs off the half back flank and setting up goals through the midfield. The 3rd and 4th B&F results were only one vote apart. Palumbo claimed his first trophy for the senior side finishing in 3rd, whilst Jack Cowell had another solid year for the Bullants finishing 4th.

If this man hadn’t already done everything in the Blue & Gold jumper, the iconic and cult figure Greg Chivers claimed yet another piece of silverware for his ever growing trophy cabinet taking out the Reserve Best & Fairest only playing 12 games for the year for the side. Chivers stamped his authority on every game he played for the reserves this year kicking numerous bags of goals through-out the year and also proving to be a match winner through the middle and back line when games were on the line. After being consistent for so many years Andrew Verga finally claimed 2nd Best & Fairest for the Bullants. Finishing just under 30 votes behind Chivers, Verga as always lead the way on the field through his presence, voice and leadership and was the difference in a handful of games when the Reserves were on their 5 game winning streak. After being back at the club after a year away, finishing just 4 votes behind Verga, Anthony Stavretis claimed his second 3rd Best & Fairest in as many years after having another consistent year in defense and running off the half back. And after dominating the first half of the year and then finishing off the second half in the seniors, Matt Cowell came in 4th Best & Fairest
