Tough pre-season has Bullants primed for Round 1

Pre-season is officially over and now the Bullants look to next weekend as they tackle Old Eltham at Ted Ajani Reserve in their first game for the 2016 season.

With pre-season staring way back in November for the club, the boys have been put through their paces over the last 5 months with an intense training schedule that will hope to have them primed to go the full four quarters in their first game next week.

Grueling running blocks, intense body core work, gym and weight sessions, full ground game plans and a commando type event day all featured in the Bullants 2016 pre-season schedule. Having played two games, one against last’s grand finalist from the Eastern Football League Kilsyth and against last years division 2 premiers Old Paradians the coaching staff believe the squad has gained great experience and confidence from the two hit outs and vow to take the efforts from both games into Round 1 next weekend.

Be sure to head down to Ted Ajani Reserve next Saturday afternoon to watch the Bullants open their 2016 campaign. Reserves 11:40am / Seniors 2pm.
