Round 2 is upon us and the boys play their first game back on the Ted Ajani deck. After falling just short against Old Mentonians last week the senior squad will look to claim their first four points of the season when they take on Whitefriars at home this week. Last week Whitefriars put up a good fight in the first half against NOBS/ST PAT’S but fell off in the second half losing by 7 goals. Of recent years the Bullants have had the wood over the Friars at home and away. Although there were some injuries to the senior squad last week with a few changes looking to take place, the seniors will still have a strong squad the hope to claim the spoils on the weekend.
The reserves boys will be on a high this week back on their home deck after a great win against Old Mentonians last week on the road. After a sluggish opening half, the boys really gathered in the second half to overrun the Panthers by four goals. New boy Wright was damaging off the half back providing some outstanding deliveries to the forwards. The forwards will be expecting no different this week from the Bullants backline and midfielders as they tackle a Friars side that struggled last week only kick two goals for the game.
