VALE George Daskalou

The Bullants would like to dedicate yesterday’s seniors and reserves wins to the Daskalou Family. The jumper was worn with pride, the armband was worn with respect.

George Daskalou’s funeral service will be tomorrow Monday 24th June at 10:30am, St. Andrews Greek Orthodox Church, 201 Mahoneys Rd, Forest Hill. This will be followed by burial at Springvale cemetery.

Past Players Luncheon

This Saturday at Ajani is the Past Players Luncheon. Come on down and watch the current Bullants battle Prahran Assumption in a replay of last year’s Division 2 grand final. The Bullants were successful in 2012, with your support they will be again in 2013. If you have not already arranged a ticket please contact any of the following as spots are still available.

This weekend our Senior and Reserves sides will be taking the field wearing orange laces in their boots in support of the ‘Lace Up’ initiative of the Step Back Think organisation. This group seeks to eradicate street violence where a single punch thrown in the heat of the moment can end the life of your brother or sister or friend and tear your world apart. Step Back Think wants to encourage young people to think more about their actions and their consequences. They are urging people to look out for their friends – guys and girls – because one punch can change countless lives forever.

This is a very worthwhile initiative and one that the Bullants are proud to support. Please visit their website for more information about Step Back Think and their initiatives.
